DAY6: YOU ARE ONE SPARK

2 Timothy 1:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

⁵ I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. ⁶ For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

It all starts with a spark, and then a big fire is made. Do not overlook the potential of a seemingly insignificant beginning because of all things start from something small.

The gospel that is in you, the spark that is within you, is not just a small insignificant flame, it is the very power of God. And the good news is, once you share this spark with others, you are spreading God’s transforming power. Remember that the one spark within you is too important to just keep to yourself. Spread the fire!

I AM ONE SPARK!! I REALLY CLAIM THAT! And as a spark, God has called me to be a salt and light to this world! The same as everyone of us! We are all God’s spark! And if we will all do our part, these sparks will turn into a huge fire! If everyone of us will be as bold as a lion to share the gospel to anyone we know, then the fire that we have wouldn’t just remain in us!

At times, especially before senior year, I was hesitant to share the gospel. Thoughts are entering my mind that really discouraged me! But when God made me understand the need for discipleship, I really stepped out on my comfort zone. With that decision that I made, I was able to send Jun-jun and Ormhel on WV. It’s not for me to boast anything, ‘cause it’s all by the grace of God! But if I hadn’t stepped out on my comfort zone a year ago, I wouldn’t be able to see how God transformed not just me but the people that I shared!

Sharing the word has never been restricted for us! It’s a lie to say that it’s only the pastors or the fulltime that has the right to share God’s Word. If we will have that mindset, we will never be able to reach the next generation!

Now is the time for us to stand! Now is the time for us to make a move! The leaders that we look up to were so passionate to the young people; that’s us! And now, I believe, it’s also time for us to be passionate on reaching the lost people in our generation! Remember! You cannot do it alone, but with the enabling grace of Jesus, you can be RADICAL in sharing your faith! The decision is yours! God is commanding us to GO! J
