One quote that I wouldn’t forget concerning vision was during one youth service we had (last year ata ‘yon?) The quote reads like this, “Vision fuels passion”. After hearing that statement, I began appreciating the importance of VISION in our lives, especially to us as Christians! Then after that, I began to think how God envisioned the world when He created it. Siguro that time, He was so excited and so passionate to create us, especially the day when He created the Humans :D.
Upon dwelling on those thoughts, I just smiled (naiimagine ko si God non. haha). Kaya lang, as I dwell on that, a burden came to me! Most of humans today don’t appreciate what God did to us! Yung iba nga, di sya kilala eh! Tapos dito sa Philippines; being a Christian nation, it seems like napaka-shallow ng pagkakakilala nila kay God. Then it also made me wonder, “what am I doing right now? I felt the burden pero I’m not doing anything” L Then I remembered those times that I was attending at Victory Pioneer, I saw great multitudes of people (Normal nay un sa Victory Metro Manila, sa Pioneer lang ako naexpose). Then I began asking and asking my self again, “Pano sila dumami ng ganito”, then a verse flashed on my head; MATTHEW 28:19-20
Go and make disciples! As I noticed, the vision of Victory Philippines is to Honor God and Make Disciples! This too God, is one of my visions! (claim ko nga God), and as this compassion for the lost continues, I pray for it to fuel the passion burning in my heart! J
