God’s word is like a seed sown in our hearts once we hear it preached. And like any other seed, it needs to be taken care of, guarded, and nurtured for it to take root and bear fruit. We can’t just leave a seed by itself once it is planted. Yes, it may still grow but there are many factors that may hinder its growth or worse, stop it all together.
When I read this from the devotional, I got afflicted! Not because that I’m troubled with my own relationship with God but with others. As much as I want to guard the treasure that God has placed in my life, I really want to be used in the lives of other people. God, this is my desire! Use me for you to penetrate into the hearts of the people around me! J
Just came home from a powerful youth service at Victory Lucena! Somehow, the topic was related to the devotional; about GOD’S WORD! It’s really important as a FUEL to a VEHICLE! We cannot deny the fact that there is POWER in God’s word but most of the time, we tend to read it less! I guess God was reminding me to prioritize His word other than things that surrounds me! Thank you God for the reminder! J
Snatchers are always alert whenever they want to steal something! They make it sure that they have planned in advance before executing any procedure to avoid mistakes. In our Christian life, the stealers aren’t just ordinary people, they are Devils which aims to steal, to kill and to destroy. Whoooh, creepy and scary too! Haha! But God tells us one thing; the enemy is DEFEATED! So there’s no point that the enemy can steal something to us, unless you, yourself allows him to! So as a reminder to us Guys! GUARD THE GOOD DEPOSIT! J
Now, I know I can do this! knowing that 7000 people are doing the same thing ! wohooo! C’mon!
