DAY3: THE SPARK THAT STARTS WITHIN

Wohoo! J DAY3 of DEVOTIONALS! I really thought that the devotional was for 30 days! It was then that I realized that it’s just for 15 days (as what I’ve read at ignite.ph) . Still, even though the devotional is just for 15 days, I’m still going to continue my 30BLOG CHALLENGE! J I just hope and pray that upon doing this challenge, I’ll be able to gain something that will help me in my walk with God; not just reading the devotional or making blogs just to comply with the task. Moreover, it is my desire to know Jesus more and have His passion for the lost people! C’mon! Let’s do this! DAY3!!! J

The MAINPOINT of today’s devotional is about the GOSPEL!J I am one of the persons that are privileged to be in this generation wherein we have the complete BIBLE. The book has been finished a long time ago and it’s really amazing how God used different people to be a part of the “GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD”. Somehow, I also got convicted, knowing the fact that A LOT OF LIVES WAS SACRIFICED for the Bible to exist and here I am, “kinatatamadan pa na basahin” L

As I evaluate the times na di ako nakakapag quiet time, I realized na most of the time, ‘pag di ako nakakapag quiet time, palpak ang araw ko! Either stressed or sobrang impatient ang araw ko compared to the days that I’m reading regularly my Bible!

The bible is full of promises and instructions and what’s amazing with it is that a verse has a lot of revelations! Moreover, it is our SPIRITUAL FOOD and SHOULD BE MEDITATED DAY AND NIGHT (Joshua 1:8). Sigh! I just realized its importance! As I relate it with the Ignite Conference, it’s not the event that will start the fire in you! IT IS GOD HIMSELF! And for us to survive, we need HIS WORD and HIS SPIRIT FOR THIS FIRE IN US TO CONTINUE ON BURNING!

GOD, THIS IS MY PRAYER! FOR ME TO FEEL THE BURDEN OF NOT READING YOUR WORD! MAKE ME HUNGRY AND THIRSTY FOR YOUR WORD! J

That time, we were so desperate to eat! Sigh! I pray I could be as desperate as that in knowing you more JESUS! Although the illustration might sound funny, but I’m serious here!
