MORE THAN ENOUGH

Just got out of the busiest first week of class ever! I thought since it’s the start of the semester, things would start easy. I guess I was wrong after all; it was then that I realized na “Graduating na nga pala ako” ahahaha :D. Since it’s the last semester, things would really be challenging!

Last October, I received a word from God to join this year’s Race For Life. With the help of Faith, I was able to register for the Race. For months, I was preparing financially for the race and the favor was really overflowing. Even though the semestral break came, I was able to save something for the Race :D. I was really excited to go to Manila :D. But the first week of class was harsh. THESIS, DEMO, LECTURES; waaaah! Akala ko ba first week ng class?? ‘Bat ganito?? K Not just that, my budget was cut to half due to my thesis and other school stuffs; PRINT, PHOTOCOPY, TRAVEL, waaaaaah! It’s as if something is hindering me from going to the race. K

I was optimist that God is going to provide everything that I need! The good thing was I finished everything by Friday afternoon, but what bothered me a lot was by budget for the whole weekend. My budget of 1,500 was cut to half (so 750 na lang yun + 20.00 = Php770.00) and I was planning to extend my stay till Sunday. I was really in a mixed emotion back then, I wanted to cry out of fear and anxiety but I know God has a better reason for this. What I did was I prayed while walking in the isle at school with my things; because of financial crisis, my common sense doesn’t want to go to Manila. In my mind, I’m thinking; “huh? I’ll go pa din? 770 na lang money ko, 210 ang fare going to Manila, 420 ang back and forth.. 350 for the whole weekend?? Will I survive?” But God is tellin’ me to! LET YOUR YES BE YES and you NO BE NO. God is above everything so He will be able to sustain your needs all throughout the weekend so DO NOT WORRY! I was still undecided then, sabi ko na lang kay God, “Lord, give me a sign (hahahaha).. I dunno what “sign” it is, but you’ll let me know”.

As I walk to the gate, I saw a jeepney going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna waiting for passengers. Immediately, I rushed into the jeepney without even worrying about tomorrow. God wanted me to go, I need to follow Him! From Lucban (where I’m studying) to Laguna to Manila, I travelled….

I was able to be a part of Race for Life 2010 (had some snapshots after the event). I even stayed at Victory Pioneer the whole afternoon and were able to extend till sunday and attended at Victory Makati!! :D

The whole week was a blessing in disguise. It was really a weekend to remember! I was able to maximize my stay and was able to extend till Sunday morning! I was blessed on how I see some friends from Pioneer as they grow more with their relationship with God. I was also encouraged upon meeting new friends from Pioneer and Makati! I’m more excited to see them growing more to God! :D God wanted me to go because He wants me to realize something! Everything that happened was a test of TRUST and if I hadn’t trusted God on this one, I think I wouldn’t be able to write this blog not experience His provision on this situation!

By the way, when I returned to Lucban, I only had 3 hours of travel due to Pacquiao’s fight! I also realized something behind that, “Our travel will be smooth once we obey and trust God ALL THE TIME”. Not just that! I was able to save Php20.00 from the entire weekend! God is really great! That makes me wanna love Him more!!!

I REALLY HAD EVERYTHING MORE THAN ENOUGH!
