FUNNY STORY ABOUT INSISTING DEATH

This is a message from a friend of mine, Alyssa Marie Mijares on facebook. As I got inspired with this, hope you too will be inspired as you read this!! :D

My father has his own funny story about insisting death. Hope this one's going to inspire ya all! God bless. ;-)

Before his emergency dialysis (the first session), he had a couple of sleepless nights due to anemia (well, people with kidney diseases have difficulty maintaining normal hemoglobin level). Those were the nights he was suffering from extreme blood intoxication (he can’t eat, vomiting after each meal and breathing difficulties). One night, while he was awake for hours, he started praying for God to take his life away so the next morning everything will be over (no more pain, no more sufferings). After a four-hour prayer, he went back to bed practicing how he would place his hands when he dies. Everything’s almost perfect but there's still one prob-- he can't sleep (insomnia due to anemia). he said, "teka, Lord, pano ako mamatay? e hindi naman pumupikit mata ko?" many times he tried to snatch some sleep but he failed. The next day he decided to finally undergo dialysis which he greatly refused for the longest time. After the first session, he was finally granted his first good sleep.

lesson?
"Only God knows why He does what He does. His plans will always prevail."

"Alam ko may plan pa talaga siya para sakin. Pag hindi pa kailangan, hindi pa kailangan. Wag ipagplitan."
-Emmanuel S. Mijares
(Chronic Kidney Disease Patient)

P.S.
My dad has fully recovered. He is continuously serving God as part of the CFC’s Music Team (guitarist and vocalist). We are planning for his transplant soon. Please pray with us for the success of this operation.
